President Obama,
I cant believe it has been 4 years since we have had a real leader in this country. I am hopeful that VP Joe Biden will bring respect back to this beautiful land. If he wins (and I hope he does) I really hope you are a part of the administration. In fact, I would love it if you could be the next person o n the Supreme Court. I can't imagine anything that would be better for this country after these LONG 4 years. You are missed!

Biden Versus Trump
Joe Biden and Donald Trump will have the final debate tonight, October 22nd. Hopefully this one will go better than the first, when Trump continuously interrupted the former Vice President (which caused the Presidents internal polling numbers to drop).

Donald Trump has paid an estiamted $750 in taxes to the United States Government for the each of the years 2016 and 2017.

Indoor Plant Food
My aunt, who is more like a second mom to me, is a plant lover who makes sure all of us have plenty of foliage in our homes. She feeds her many plants with her fish tank food, which is nutritious and perfect for her needs. Sadly I have cats who manage to eat our fish, so we haven't kept fish in the house for years.
The Weirdest Things About Being Human
There is no denying that human beings are weird creatures. But just how weird are we? I've been looking up weird human facts and learning more than I'd ever hoped to learn about the weirdness of being a human being. You might already know that we are taller in the morning, but did you know that we make enough saliva to fill two bathtubs every year? Ew.
Prime Day Follow Up
Last week Prime Day had many of us shopping in our pajamas for deals, but my family didn't really find anything we wanted or needed, so we didn't end up spending anything on Prime Day. I did notice that lots of other stores had similar deals or have started to promote similar deal days to compete with Amazon.
The Dark Side of the Griffins
There have been a LOT of Family Guy episodes over the years, and, as with South Park, The Simpsons and other shows, sometimes they start to run into one another in your mind. Honestly I sometimes even mix up the shows between one another, which South Park has ripped on before (Simpsons did it! Simpsons did it!). But when it comes to those deep, dark moments, you tend to remember them.
One Last Bite
It breaks my heart to see so many restaurants having to close around us during this pandemic. I totally understand their reasoning behind it, but that doesn't make it any less painful, especially when we all know that national leadership might have been able to prevent much of the damage.

Did you know that various crustaceans have evolved into the shape of a crab multiple times over the years? It's a natural form of evolution that species sometimes use to adapt to an environment. It makes sense for multiple species to have similar adaptations when they face the same challenges and have the same needs as one another.
New Harlequin Frog Discovered
Unfortunately we are losing frogs at a fast pace due to habitat destruction, deadly fungal diseases that wipe frogs out and other reasons, but scientists were still able to discover a new species of Harlequin Frog that remains critically endangered.
Where Was Marvel Then?
Remember back when Brie Larson and Zendaya were threatened and harrassed by people on a daily basis when they joined the Marvel "family"? How about when Anthony Mackie was jeered at for being the new Cap, or when people even made fun of Chadwick Boseman for losing weight? A few costars stood up for them but they were largely met with radio silence when they needed their "family" on their side.
Fall Paninis And Sandwiches
We don't often talk about sandwiches around here, but I think we should give them some love. The sandwich is one of my favorite foods, and I love all kinds of different breads, cheeses, condiments, and other sandwich goodies. One of my favorite things to put on a fall sandwich is definitely apple butter.
Pumpkin Spice Booze
It's fall, y'all, and that means it's time to enjoy all the pumpkin spice goodies, drinks and yes, booze! There seem to be more pumpkin spice themed drinks than ever, which is great for those of us who enjoy it. (Those of you who don't: what do you enjoy this time of year? I'm actually a bigger lover of apple flavor than pumpkin myself, but I love the pumpkin scent.)

All The Pumpkin Treats!
We're neck-deep in the pumpkin spice season now! Have you sampled all of your favorite goodies yet? I haven't had a chance to go to Trader Joe's or Aldi, the two stores that always manage to sell the best pumpkin goodness, but I've been able to have a couple of PSLs at home as well as in the Starbucks drive-through. I also snagged some PSL tea that's been delicious!
